Cindy Ann Thomas (Brooks), 58, of Greentown, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 8:45pm at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Cindy was born to Raymond Brooks (deceased) and Joyce Brooks (deceased) on June 24, 1958 in Peru, IN. She worked at Chrysler in Kokomo, Indiana for 16 years. Her free time was always dedicated to her family. Cindy loved being in the sun and the water as much as possible. Her day was not complete without a shopping trip or being outside. She was very kindhearted and always there when need be. She will forever be missed by all who loved her.
Cindy married Gary L. Thomas June 24, 1999, and he preceded her in death on October 15, 2016. Cindy is survived by her children: Phillip Wyatt, Greentown; Joshua Wyatt, Wabash; Shiyanna Dill, Crystal River, FL. Step-daughter: Tara Thomas Apellido, Killeen, Texas. Grandchildren: Lexxus Apellido, Keely Apellido, Jadden Apellido, and EJ Apellido. Siblings: Sister Kathy Fulton, Wabash; and brother Dennis Brooks, Bluffton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 10am-1pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. Funeral service will follow at 1pm. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, IN. Flowers or memorial contributions can be sent directly to the funeral home for the family of Cindy Thomas.
