Christopher Allan “Chris” Fox, 65, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 8:40 am, Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his home. He was born March 26, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to Edson and Doris (Bassett) Fox.
Chris was a 1969 graduate of Kokomo High School. He married Angela “Angie” Thompson in Kokomo on February 15, 1986. He retired from Duke Energy after 30 years. Chris was a member of the Wabash Sons of American Legion, the Wabash Moose, and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1393. He enjoyed woodworking, trap and skeet sporting clays, fishing, classic cars, and attending car shows, and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Angela “Angie” Fox of Wabash; two daughters, Kelley Reed of Mooresville, Indiana and Angela Evans of Kokomo, Indiana; four grandchildren, Kristina (Josiah) Johnson of Converse, Indiana, Ashley (Matt) Johnson of Delphi, Indiana, Jordan Fox and Korey Gettle, both of Kokomo; three great-grandchildren, Haydin Briscoe, Cherish Briscoe, and Piper Johnson, all of Delphi, Indiana; sisters and brothers, Donna Long of Gallatin, Tennessee, Linda Brown of Noblesville, Indiana, Della Brown and Edson Fox Jr., both of Kokomo, Charles (Ruth) Fox of Sumner, Texas, and Wanda “Ruth” Payne of Kokomo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will receive friends 11:00am-12:00 pm Friday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. There will be no service.
