Christina D. Nelson, 53, Marion, died on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Foster G. McGraw Hospital. She was born in Marion, Indiana, to the late Jack K. White and Lena (Ritter) White-Salazar.
Christina was a graduate of Marion High School. She was a delivery driver for Papa John’s and previously worked for RCA. She loved to sing eclectic music, and was an active gymnast. Christina loved angels and is now a heavenly angel watching over her family. She was very family oriented and loved sipping coffee with her sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Maria White and Melissa (Henry Gerstorff) White; sisters, Diana Wheadon and Patricia (Mike) Michaud; four grandsons, four granddaughters, and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her fiancé and love of her life, Terry Green.
In addition to her parents, Christina was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Keith White; and step-father, Willie Salazar.
Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Grant Memorial Park Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
