Charles J. Bohrer, 63, of Huntington, IN, passed away with family by his side on Monday, May 30, 2016, at 4:50 p.m.
Charles was born in Allen County, IN, on October 14, 1952, to John and Mary (Schmoll) Bohrer. His parents preceded him in death. He married Margie Neeley on September 6, 1980, and she survives.
Charles graduated from New Haven High School in 1970. He was a partner with his son at Bohrer Farms, Inc. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, Council #1014, Huntington, IN.
Along with his wife he is survived by one son, Matthew Bohrer, Huntington, IN; one daughter, Abby Bohrer, Fort Wayne, IN; and three grandchildren, Peyton LeCount, Zayda Bohrer, and Ayannah Larkey.
Charles was preceded in death by one son, Nicholas Bohrer, in 2005.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, with Fr. Ron Rieder, OFM Cap presiding.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
