Charles H. Francis, 70, Roann, IN died May 11, 2016 at 6:46 p.m. in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN. He was born September 14, 1945 in Davy, WV to James & Eula (Thomas) Francis. On June 28, 1971 he married Wincel J. Buttrum. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. Charles was a self employed appliance repairman. He is survived by his wife, Wincel Francis; sons, John (Shannon) Francis, Florence, AZ, Mike (Tracy) Day, Wabash, IN, Charlie Francis, Roann, IN and Jamie Francis, Roann, IN; daughters, Stacy Francis, Crawfordsville, IN, Shelley (David) Stafford, Silver Lake, IN and Marcie (Randy) Shepherd, Wabash, IN; brothers, Roger (Tonya) Francis, Kokomo, IN and Kenny (Sherry) Francis, Merrillville, TN; sister, Rita (Tom) Jones, Merrillville, TN; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. One brother, Ed Francis, and one sister, Cheryl Gullett, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren are deceased. Family and friends may call Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester.
