Charles “Buck” L. Teegarden, 64, Marion, passed away in his home at 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016. He was born in Marion to the late Clarence D. and Mary L. Teegarden.
Buck worked in building maintenance and was previously the Superintendent of Maintenance at Five Points Mall in Marion. He had a great love for the outdoors and camping, and especially enjoyed fishing. He also liked motorcycles and racing.
He is survived by his children, Billie J. Stanley, Mary Keffer, Betty J. Rose, Charlie Teegarden, Eddie (Regina) Weaver, Mike Weaver, Kim Burnham, and Jennifer Weaver, all from Marion; grandchildren, Skyler, Hermione, Stormi, Daisha, Austin, Codi, Ashley, Alexus, Mary, Cheri, Austin James, Onda, Eric, Crystal, Justin, Resa, Josh, Vickie, Gary, Michael, and Bobbie; sister, Linda (Bob) Lowe, Gas City; brother, Joe “Ed” Williams, Jonesboro; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his son, Jimmy Weaver; brother, Clarence Teegarden, Jr.; and his dog, Guardian.
At the family’s request, there will be a private memorial service at a later date.
