The Celebration of the Life of Charlene Miller
At the age of 73 Charlene Miller of Peru went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 12th, 2016.
She was born January 11th, 1943 in Searcy, Arkansas. Charlene is the daughter of Ruby Campbell. On October 6th, 1968, Charlene married James L. Miller in Peru, Indiana. Mrs. Miller retired from American Stationary after 30 years of service; she also worked at Peru Community Schools for 10 years. She loved taking care of her flowers and plants. She also loved spending time with all of her Family.
The surviving family members consist of: her husband James Miller (Peru), Ray “Beth” Harris (Sebring, Ohio), Ann “Dave” Hiers (Peru), Brenda “Rob” Alderson (Oak Ridge, North Carolina), Donnie Miller (Peru). She had seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Charlene Miller was preceded in death by her mother, and 10 brothers and sisters. Friends may call, and sign the condolence book from 11a.m. — 1p.m. Tuesday May 17th, 2016. The funeral service will continue at Flowers-Leedy Funeral home at 1 p.m. on May 17th, 2016. Pastor Ray Harris will conduct this service. Mount Hope Cemetery will be the final resting place for Mrs. Charlene Miller.
