Candy Jane Boonstra, 54, died June 1, 2017 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born on June 6, 1962 at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, Indiana to Keith C. Swavey Sr. and Gloria Jean (Mize) Wilson.
Candy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to laugh, had a very loving heart, and was always willing to help others. She loved to make everyone smile.
She is survived by her parents, Gloria Jean (Mize) Wilson and Keith C. Swavey Sr, stepmother Patricia Swavey, son Nicholas Boonstra, daughter Melissa Boonstra, grandchildren Macy Lou Boonstra, Layla Jane Boonstra, Brady Lee Boonstra, and Grayson Lee Boonstra. Brother Keith C. Swavey Jr. and wife Linda Swavey. Nephews Joshua Swavey, Michael Swavey, and Matthew Swavey. Aunts Debbie and Ron Davis, Patricia and Rick Sparks, and Susie and Miles Hewitt. Uncles George and Dorothy Mize, Gary and Marlene Swavey, stepbrother Gary Todd (Jonna) Hayes. Stepsisters Alisa (Patrick) Bernotas, Robin Hayes, and Paula Annette (Raymond) Bolin. Many cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Delbert and Zelma Mize, paternal grandparents Norman Swavey and Lucille Narpes, and stepfather Ronald Wilson.
Visitation will be held from 11am – 1pm on Saturday June 10, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.
