Candace N. “Candy” Zimmerman, 70 of Rocky Mount, Missouri and formerly of Fort Wayne and Markle passed away at 9:45 pm on Monday, May 29, 2017 at University of Missouri Hospital. Candy was a 1964 graduate of West Rockcreek High school and a graduate of Manchester College. She was a college administrator for many years in northwest Ohio. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Candy loved to shop, gardening and her animals.
Candy was born on July 25, 1946 in Bluffton, the daughter of Robert D. and Alvada H. (Martin) Snyder.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth M. Zimmerman. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2017.
Survivors include a son: Andrew R. PeGan; a daughter: Abbie M. (Joe) Stemper; three brothers: Neil Snyder of Huntington; Joe (Vicky) Snyder of Anderson; Kevin Snyder of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 3:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel.
Interment will be at the Hoverstock Cemetery.
