Bruce V. Kistler

Bruce V. Kistler, 84, Marion, died in Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring, Florida, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. He was born in Grant County, Indiana, on November 10, 1933, to the late Russell and Dorothy (Wood) Kistler.

Bruce retired from Indiana Bell where he was a switchman. He was an avid bowler and fisherman, and he loved to play Bingo and cards. Bruce also liked going to Cowboy Church at Grace Community Church.

Survivors include his significant other, Shirley Bramblett, Avon Park, Florida; sons, Gregory (Bonnie) Kistler, Arizona, Russell (Susie) Kistler, Texas, Brett (Cathy) Kistler, Columbia City, and R.J. (Kelli) Kistler, Marion; grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda) Kistler, Colorado, Brooke Kistler, Van Buren, Kelly (Daniel) Matthews, Arizona, Tracy Kistler California, and Nicole (Mike) Kistler, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Keagan Kistler, Aiden Matthews, Braelee McNutt, Madison Cole, Bailey Hudgens, and Cailyn Hudgens.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Bruce’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger will be officiating with burial following at Gardens of Memory.
