Brian E. Eliot, 70 of Warren passed away at 6:30 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his residence. Brian was a 1963 graduate of Rock Creek High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He had worked at Bendix Corporation for 32 years. Brian enjoyed fishing, watching movies, being outdoors, and mushroom hunting and was an avid IU basketball fan.

Brian was born on May 21, 1945 in Huntington, the son of William and Mary (Huffman) Eliot.

He was united in marriage to Cynthia Sprague on June 22, 1968. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include four daughters: Jody (David) Wren of Defiance, OH; Robin (Jeremy) Western of Auburn; Tami (Scott) Moser of Bluffton; Tonia (Steve) Crawford of Roanoke; a sister: Leta Williams of Kokomo; a brother: John “Boyd” (Alma) Eliot of Salt Lake City, UT; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Mary Eliot, a daughter: Michelle Eliot-Lau and a grandson: Joseph Mazakes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made out to Riley Children’s Hospital in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
