Brenda Kay King, 61, of rural Denver, Indiana, died at 6:48 pm, Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana. She was born June 7, 1955 in Marion, Indiana to Jonas and Doris (Lewis) Gilbert.
Brenda married Donald W. King, in Wabash, on March 31, 1998. She enjoyed working crafts, playing electronic games, and loved her Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Donald W. King of Denver, six children, Amy (Chad Fuller) Tracy of Jonesboro, Indiana, Desari (Corey) Easterday of Wabash, Travis Tracy of Marion, Indiana, Nicholas King of Wabash, Eric Tracy of Marion, and Angela (Joshua) Bailey of North Manchester, Indiana, brother, Jay (Rita) Gilbert of Noblesville, Indiana, two sisters, Marla (Monty) Lamb of Fairmount, Indiana, and Shelly (Allen) Hasty of Alexandria, Indiana, and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Tommy Tracy, and brother, Jamie Gilbert.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, July 22, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Joshua Lovens officiating. Burial will be in Paw Paw Cemetery, Miami County, Indiana. Friends may call 4 – 8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
