Brandon J. Rairigh left this earthly home and the love of his family July 6, 2016, at the age of 23.

He was born August 21, 1992 in Anchorage, AK. Brandon is the son of Pastor James L. Rairigh and Denise K. (Sholty) Rairigh. He was the father of a beautiful little girl, Braelynn L. Rairigh (mother Kylie Holland), and enjoyed the time he spent with her. Brandon was engaged to an amazing young woman, Mary L. Hannah (Manitowoc, WI), and they were set to marry in August of this year.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, William C. Sholty, and his paternal grandmother, Frances L. Rairigh. In addition to his daughter, Braelynn, his fiancée, Mary, and his parents, Brandon is survived by his sisters, Kayla C. Kelley (Lake Mary, FL) and Tayler L. Rairigh (Peru, IN); his paternal grandfather, William E. Rairigh (Peru, IN); His maternal Grandparents, Sheryl K. & William L. Cover, and William M. and Connie S. Sholty, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brandon was a fun and loving young man. He loved to laugh and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. He would do anything for those who had a need, especially those who were not able to help themselves. Brandon liked playing Frisbee golf, and had a love for music as he sang, played guitar and keyboard. He was a person who liked to be outdoors and work with his hands.  He most recently worked in the maintenance department at The Estates at Eagles Pointe in Peru, IN. There were two employers that really made an impact on him and allowed him to be outdoors. After graduating from North Miami High School in 2010, he worked for Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, IN and Banning CA. It was there that he found the excitement of being a decoy, putting the bite suit on and getting the adrenaline rush of the dogs hitting him. 4 Seasons Lawn Care in Manitowoc, WI, was a favorite employer. It was there that he learned all about caring for lawns, landscaping, shrubs and so much more.

All services will be held at Zion Chapel, 915 S Broadway, Peru, IN 46970. Viewing is Monday, July 11th from 12:00 – 7:00pm, and funeral service Tuesday, July 12th at 10:00am, with Pastor’s Rod Correll, Lew McKinney, and George Dinkel officiating.
