Bran A. Bonewitz, age 44, of Edon, OH, and formerly of Roanoke, IN, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at 9:50 am, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home, Montpelier, OH. He graduated from Huntington North High School in 1991 and attended Northwest State Community College. He worked at Sauder Woodworking in Archbold, Ohio, and enjoyed leatherworking.
Bran was born September 18, 1972, in Bluffton, IN, the son of Steven D. and Karen K. (Fishbaugh) Bonewitz. They survive in Roanoke, IN. On May 13, 2005, he married his beloved wife Jamie Jo Koch in Bryan, OH, and she survives in Edon. Also surviving are 2 daughters Joie (Jonathan) Douglass-Garr of Fort Polk, LA, Alexanderia Hills of Bryan, OH, one son Rayden Bonewitz of Fort Wayne, IN, a grandson Levi Douglass-Garr, a sister Christen (Ed) Martin of Roanoke, grandmother Agnes Fishbaugh of Roanoke, IN, father & mother-in-law Dale & Rosanna Koch of West Unity, OH, and grandmother-in-law Lucille Koch Pitts of Bryan, OH.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 3, at 11:00 am, with calling one hour prior at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes, Roanoke, IN. Pastor Jim Tormey will officiate.
