Beverly “Sue” Artherhults, 81, Marion, died at 2:26 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Marion. She was born in Grant County, to the late Charles and Violet (Pratt) Turner.

Sue married Frank Artherhults in 1959, and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1994. Prior to his death, Sue assisted him in their family-owned business ventures. She was a member of the Marion Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary and was a beloved caregiver for many children.

Sue was a member of First Baptist Church in Marion and her service there was evidence of how much her church meant to her. She volunteered in the church office doing whatever needed to be done. Sue was involved in planning and cooking for many church dinners and was well-known for her yeast rolls. She had many other interests and was a kind and helpful neighbor and friend.

Sue is survived by her sister, Dixie (Doug) Abbott, Gas City; brothers, Ward (Marcia) Turner, Gas City, and Jim (Rosemary) Turner, Naples, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Mick Simpkins and Rev. Charlie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
