Betty J. Beady, 78, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at 4:02 p.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Beady was born February 21, 1938, in Huntington, IN to Russell H. and Lucy J. (Thompson) Teusch. Her parents preceded her in death.
Betty was a 1956 Huntington Catholic High School graduate. She was employed as a Circuit Court Clerk for 19 years in Huntington, IN. She was member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2689 and a past member of Sigma Phi Gamma.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Anne (Ed) Tarter, Huntington, IN; one brother, Dave (Rita) Teusch, Huntington, IN; two grandchildren, Danielle Clements, Huntington, IN, Brett Beady, Tuscaloosa, AL; four step-grandchildren, Cory (Amy) Tarter, Huntington, IN, Heather Tarter, Marion, IN, Ginger McCray, Willie Dailey, both of AL; and step great-grandchildren, Hailey Scott, Marion, IN, and Lily Tarter, Huntington, IN.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey L. Beady, two brothers, Richard Teusch, Jim Teusch; two grandsons, Chad Clements, Zachary Clements; and two step-grandchildren, Edward Barrett and Amy DaLee.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN with Recitation of the Rosary at 8:00 p.m. following the calling.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN with Father Ron Rieder, OFM Cap officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
