Betty H. Sagarsee, 87, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 8:00 am, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at her home. She was born September 1, 1929 in Frederick, Maryland to Harold and Helen (Harris) Eaton.
Betty was a Bippus High School and Huntington College graduate. She worked as an aide at the Wabash County Hospital retiring after 30 years. She came to Wabash in 1949 from Huntington County, Indiana. She was a member of the Wabash First Church of God.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Cindy) Sagarsee of Albion, Indiana; three grandchildren, Alli, Justin (Staci) Sagarsee, of Colorado, and Sedrick (Amijo) Sagarsee of Albion; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Myrtle Fraley of Mount Airy, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Dennis and Tom Sagarsee, and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, October 14, 2016 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Robb Rensberger officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9:30 – 11 am, Friday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Wabash First Church of God.
