Betty Conliff

Betty was born in Bunker Hill, Indiana, on January 14, 1937 to the late Joseph and Edna Mae (McCain) Armstrong. She passed away on October 6, 2016 in her Converse home.

Betty resided in Grant County her entire life. On March 27, 1954, she married John Conliff, Sr. and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2016. Betty worked for Tulox Plastic Corporation. In her free time she enjoyed reading, needlepoint with plastic canvas and puzzle books. Betty attended Converse United Methodist Church.

Betty is survived by her children, John (Linda) Conliff, Jr., Converse; Sandy Binnion, Converse; Katrina (Gary) Exmeyer, Kokomo; Cynthia (Richard) Winters, Bunker Hill. Brother, Gary Armstrong; and sister, Peggy Gruel, Kokomo.

Betty was preceded in death by: Daughter: Pamela Trueblood; brothers, Claude Earl Armstrong; Ralph Armstrong; Richard Armstrong and sisters, Helen Martin; Elsie Easton and Ruth Floyd.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Great Lakes Hospice for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 2pm to 6pm.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel, 308 East Marion Street, Converse, Indiana, with Pastor John Rhodes officiating.

Burial will be in Converse Cemetery immediately following the service.
