Betty C. Gregerson 94, of Van Buren, IN, passed away at 3:15 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion, IN. She was born on Friday, August 25, 1922, in Mora, MN. She married Vincent L. Gregerson on August 24, 1946 in Hayward, WI; he passed away on September 20, 1981. Betty graduated high school in Barron, WI. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for several years. Betty enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Van Buren Nazarene Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, church board member and President of the Missionary Society.
Survivors include: Sons – Roy (Karen) Gregerson, Frankfort, IN, Robert (Sarah) Gregerson, Ft. Myers, FL, Michael (Karolee) Gregerson, Huntington, IN, Daughters – Michelle (Rex) Banter, Warren, IN, Carol Gregerson, Van Buren, IN, Gail (Terry) Keating, Traskwood, AR, Son in Law – Robert (Barb) Jones, Huntington, IN, 20 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 4 Gr. Gr. Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her: Father – Charles Fegan, Mother – Eldona (Black) Fegan, Husband – Vincent L. Gregerson, Daughter – Patricia Jones, Brothers – Charles Edward Fegan and William Robert Fegan, Sisters – Wilma Jean Foster and Ruth Fegan.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Van Buren Nazarene Church 305 S. 1st Street Van Buren on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be at Van Buren Nazarene Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 with the Pastor Jeff Slater officiating. Viewing will be held one hour before the service. Interment will follow in the Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren.
