Barbi Johnson, 50, Gas City, died at 3:09 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, with her family beside her in her home. She was born in Marion to the late Lois (Wilson) McClure. Barbi married Tim Johnson on May 20, 2000, and he survives.

Barbi worked at Hill’s Department Store and was a fashion model for the Casablanca Agency in Indianapolis. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, taking care of her rose bush, and being a cat wrangler for her furry kids—Izzy, Boo-Boo and Jo-Jo.

Survivors include her husband and soulmate for 27 years, Tim Johnson; son, Brian W. (Abby Harlan) McClure; daughters, Madison (Rudy) Smith, and Chelci Johnson; uncle, Myron (Jackie Columbus) Wilson; nieces, Lindsey (Jamie Tarpein) McClure and Crystal Long; 9 grandchildren; and father- and mother-in-law, Gary (Kathleen) Johnson.

She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Brian L., Bret A., and Bart J. McClure.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with Barbi’s service beginning at 12 noon on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN. Pastor Ron Forsythe will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
