Barbara A. Davis, 83, North Manchester, IN died at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN. She was born May 19, 1933 in Fort Wayne, IN to Ivan & Ruth (Cook) Bowser. She graduated from Southside High School, Fort Wayne, IN class of 1951. On February 2, 1952 she married William W. Davis. He died June 22, 2006. Barbara retired from Indiana Lawrence Bank in 1997. She was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church. She loved being with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Steve (Mary) Davis, Evansville, IN; daughters, Linda (Bruce Braden) Davis, Carmel, IN and Sharee (Steve) Leist, Edwardsburg, MI; brother, Donald Bowser, Fort Wayne, IN and eight grandchildren. One sister, Carol Bowser, is deceased. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be announced at a later date.
