Babette B. Williamson, age75, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at 9:47 am at Covington Meadows, Fort Wayne. She graduated from Roanoke High School in 1959 and worked for North American Van Lines. She was a member of American Legion Post #499.
Babette was born September 14, 1941, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Theodore and Bonita (Roe) Miller. On November 22, 1982, she married her beloved husband Robert Williamson in Lexington, VA, and he passed away August 2, 2000. She is survived by longtime friend’s the Taylor family and numerous in-laws.
A memorial service will be held Saturday March 18 at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes. Chaplain Fred Meuter of Heart to Heart Hospice will officiate. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.
