Anna M. Sollars, 49, Marion, went to be with the Lord in her home at 2:38 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was born in Dayton, Maryland, to Elmer Lee and Bessie (Blevins) Collins and was raised by her grandparents, Lewis and Martha Collins. She married John Sollars on February 27, 2014, and he survives.

Anna was a member of Holiness Tabernacle in Sneedville, Tennessee, and she attended Nelson Street Wesleyan Church in Marion. She enjoyed browsing through Facebook.

Survivors include her husband, John; daughter, Florence Megan Cheek; sister, Betty (Ricky) Harris; brother, Harold Scott Collins; half-brothers and sisters, Donald Lewis Collins, Rosemary Cope, Perry Collins, and Glenda Sue Collins; several nieces, nephews, and friends; special friend, Wilma, Sneedville; and sisters- and brothers-in-law, Sarah Hardin, Diana Dakin, Lester Sollars, Kenny Sollars, William Sollars, Gary Sollars, and Larry Sollars.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Christopher “Chris” Ray Collins; and step-mother, Mary Mable Collins.

Visitation is from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Grant Memorial Park Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion. Services begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Steve Fletcher officiating.
