Andrew L. Haxton Sr., of Peru, IN, passed away in his home on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the age of 69.
Andrew was born to Francis Walker and Cyril Haxton Sr. on November 25, 1947 in Chili, IN. He was retired from Wilson Foods, IBP Inc., and Tyson Fresh Meats. Andrew was an avid fisherman and hunter and spent most of his free time enjoying the outdoors. He was also an original member of the Peru Bass Masters Club.
Andrew married Cleo Grist on September 18, 1971. Andrew is survived by his wife Cleo Haxton; his sons, Andrew J. Haxton Jr. (Jill), Charles Haxton, and Sean Haxton; his daughter, Crystal Haxton; his six grandchildren, Cody, Conner, Maddie, and Samuel Haxton, and Austin and Michael Campbell; his brother Cyril Haxton Jr.; and his sister Dorothy Haxton.
Visitation will be held at Flowers Leedy Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 between the hours of 4pm and 6pm. At Andrew’s request, he will be cremated.
