Amanda Brochelle (Huffman) Timmons, 44, Marion, passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018, in Marion General Hospital. A lifelong resident of Marion, Amanda was born on March 27, 1973, and was the daughter of Chris and Jane (Romine) Huffman. She married Doug Timmons on January 30, 2014, and he survives.
Amanda graduated from Lakeview Christian School in 1991 and attended Indiana Wesleyan University. She loved scrapbooking, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her loving parents, Chris and Jane Huffman; husband, Doug; children, Cassandra “CJ” Timmons, Gas City, Julia (Drew) Christman, Fort Wayne, Anna Clossin, Fort Wayne, Micaylah (Brandon Lucas) Timmons, Kokomo, and Gabriel (Jessica) Timmons, Marion; and grandchildren, Caeden, Abigail, Daniel, Emalie, and two more on the way.
Preceding her in death was her son, Steven Jacob Alan Clossin.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Amanda’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018, at Westview Wesleyan Church, 1300 W. 6th St., Jonesboro, IN. Rev. Chuck McCallum will be officiating with burial following at Marion National Cemetery.
