Alvie L. Davis, 77, of Peru passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 8, 1939 in Miami County to Daniel and Pearl (Bloomfield) Davis. He married Dorothy L. Millican in 1971, and she preceded him in death on November 22, 2006. Alvie was a member of the Eagles Lodge, and was retired from Orion Safety Products.
He is survived by his children: James Millican, Peru; Brenda Rose, Wabash; and Dorothy Booth, Wabash. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 9am – 11am at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. Funeral service will follow at 11am, with Pastor Chris Edgington officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
